Lisa Deanna Rinna was born on July 11, 1963 in Newport Beach, California. Rinna made her acting debut in 1985 when she appeared in John Parr’s music video “Naughty Naughty.” Her appearance in The Hogan Family in 1990 marked her TV career. Her big break came when she starred on the Days of Our Lives, a soap opera by NBC. She starred as Billie Reed, a professional singer but was ruined because of her cocaine addiction. She played the role from 1992-1995, 2002-2003, and a reprise in 2012. The soap follows the lives, struggles, and loves of the citizens of the fictional city Salem.
From 1996-1998, she became part of the soap opera Melrose Place. She played as Taylor McBride, the opportunistic wife of Kyle McBride (Rob Estes). The soap opera revolves around the struggles and conflicts faced by a group of friends in Melrose Place, California. She then co-starred with her husband in the teen-crime drama Veronica Mars in 2004-2007. She also starred in different movies including Another Woman’s Husband (1999), Sex, Lies, and Obsession (2001) and Good Advice (2001). Rinna also became part of an episode of the HBO series Entourage. She and Hamlin again co-starred in Broadway’s Chicago in 2009. She also guest starred in the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush in 2011.
Rinna became co-presenter of Soap Talk from 2002-2006, alongside Ty Treadway. The show featured soap opera stars, occasional authors, and stars of cable shows. She was also given an opportunity to host the red carpet coverage of TV Guide Network in 2007 aside from hosting a makeover programme, Merge, and guest-hosting Live with Regis and Kelly.
Rinna and Hamlin teamed-up again and created the reality TV series Harry Loves Lisa in 2010. The show depicts their hectic family life and ran for six episodes.
As of January 2020, Rinna's estimated net worth is $10 million. She gained her wealth from her television and movie appearances, commercials, and modelling.

Rinna was chosen to be part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fifth season in 2014. She received $450,000 per season as her salary for the show. Her appearance on the show got her and her husband back to the spotlight.
Aside from acting, she also worked as a model. One of her notable poses is a nude pictorial for the September 1998 edition of Playboy. She’s six months pregnant with her first-born when the pose was taken. In May 2009, she again posed for Playboy as the cover model. She also appeared in different TV commercials and advertisements including Taco Bell and Winsor Pilates.
Rinna was still struggling in her acting career when he met Hamlin, who was already an established actor in Hollywood. They met in a restaurant where Hamlin was having dinner with Rinna’s boss. The two started dating after Hamlin’s divorce.
The pair got married on March 29, 1997 after a few years of dating. Rinna gave birth to Delilah Belle on June 10, 1998 followed by Amelia Gray on June 13, 2001. Rinna suffered from postpartum depression but Hamlin has been so supportive with her therapy.
